Parkview Community Church Ministry Staff

Robin Ahn
Business Administrator

Responsibilities: Managing the day-to-day business stuff for the purpose of furthering the mission of the church. This includes business, administrative and facility issues, and a bunch of other stuff that no one else wants to deal with.

Family: Married to Tenny for 18 years. Two children, Hannah and Luke. Dog, cat, turtle and 2 gerbils.

Education: School of experience and hard knocks. Most always enrolled in a course at COD. When it's all said and done, I'll have my degree in Elementary Education from Elmhurst College. Just enjoying the ride along the way.

Vision for the future: To help build a strong and solid business infrastructure within Parkview, enabling us to successfully carry out God's plan for our future.

Random Thoughts: Has anyone fed the turtle lately? Skinny Vanilla Latte. Early morning silence. So many books, so little time. No more pets! Yes, I can do it all. Green Tea. Pizza. Ice Cream. Gerbils need water. No, you cannot get a frog.

Robin Ahn

Responsibilities: Encouraging spiritual growth, connection and care within the Parkview family.

Family: Married to Patti since 1972 with four adult children (including Jon, a PCC member) and five granddaughters.

Education: BA in Biblical Studies from Trinity International University, MA in Communications from Wheaton College.

Vision for the future: That we, as group of Jesus followers, would grow in our journeys inward and outward, and increasingly learn to recognized and join in where God is building his kingdom.

Random Thoughts: Married to my best friend. Melting when a granddaughter snuggles. The definition of "old" is your current age plus 15 years.

Chuck Howard

Responsibilities: Lead worship arts ministries such as music, drama, media and visual arts. Maybe someday a tap-dance ministry. Shared planning and leading of worship services. Ensuring the music team doesn’t run out of nutty bars. Miscellaneous duties as assigned (that’s most of my job).

Family: Married to Sherry with daughter Sarah, and son Miles (gee – where do you think he got that name?), some fish, a groundhog that decided to make a home under our deck, and a dog named Cozmo. Anyone have some cattle that need a home?

Education: Guitar & Bass – Dave Sheaffer; Drums – Walt Omelchenko, John Kauffman and some other guys; Piano & Theory – Mrs. Leidich and a woman that slapped my hands because of my poor posture and bad technique; Music – WIU jazz program, Chicago giggin’ school of hard knocks. A few business schools gave me some pieces of paper that said I studied – or, uh, graduated.

Vision: 20/20 with corrective lenses……To see our people living authentic, passionate lives of worship.

Random Thoughts: Stuffed pizza and Nutty Bars. Marcus, Miles, ‘Trane. Did someone say bass solo? Popeye’s chicken or BW3 hot wings. R&B, funk, jazz, Motown. Country – well, maybe not. Know anyone that can play the harp or lyre? Me neither.
